About The Academy

What is West Country Academy Of Drama?

We tailor your training to suit your individual needs, working with each actor to define and then achieve your aims.

Who is it for?

Everyone wishing to pursue insight into  screen / theatrical entertainment, gain confidence, whether in everyday life or to feed a passion.

What can I learn there?

We offer guidance in acting. Actors choose their own path, learning the skills you want to according to your aims and skill level, there is no set curricular.

Within the actors studio, classes move through different areas of method and technique. The initial month actors are assessed to analyse the exact training required, then a program of work will be planned for you on that basis.

Our bespoke methods can be very simple but effective. Aimed at discovering inner talents, we bring out the best in our actors so you can achieve your goals, explore confidence issues and work on ideas that might surprise along the way.

Where are we?
